Flat fees are fully transparent. I don’t bill by the hour and then do unnecessary work just to inflate the final invoice. My flat fee is less than the "standard Honolulu rate" of $6k for a basic probate.

Who do I work with?
Probate and Trust Administration Services
Informal Probate. A simplified court process used to administer a deceased person’s estate when there are no disputes among heirs or beneficiaries. It typically involves less court supervision, faster timelines, and minimal paperwork compared to formal probate. This process is often used when a valid will exists and the estate is straightforward, making it easier and more cost-effective for the personal representative to distribute assets and settle debts.

Trust Administration. Trust administration is the process of managing and distributing the assets held in a trust after the trust creator (grantor) has passed away or becomes incapacitated. The trustee is responsible for following the terms of the trust, paying debts and taxes, and distributing assets to beneficiaries as outlined in the trust document. Unlike probate, trust administration typically occurs privately and without court supervision.

Ancillary Probate. This is a secondary probate process used when a person dies owning property (usually real estate) in a state or country different from where they lived (their domicile). It is required to legally transfer or sell that out-of-state property, in addition to the primary probate proceeding in the deceased's home state.

Collection by Affidavit. For estates WITHOUT real property and valued at less than $100k.

Real Estate Conveyances. Whether done by a Personal Representative's deed or a trustee's deed, we'll ensure that your property title is properly conveyed from the estate.

Land Court Petitions. To address matters related to the estate or successor trusteeship. This is generally required before any conveyance can be made to transfer the property to beneficiaries or heirs.
